Elizabeth Serra-Hsu named to Pre-Season All-RMAC Team.
 GOLDEN, Colo. (Aug. 18, 2010) – Colorado School of Mines’ Elizabeth Serra-Hsu has been named to the 2010 Pre-Season All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Volleyball Team, as announced today by the RMAC.
Serra-Hsu, a 5’11” senior outside hitter / opposite from Davis, Calif. (Davis High School), earned First Team All-RMAC and Daktronics Second Team All-Central Region last fall. Serra-Hsu finished the 2009 season ranked first in the RMAC in service aces (43), second in service aces per game (0.36), third in points (469.0), fourth in kills (384), fifth in points per set (3.94), seventh in kills per set (3.23), 10th in digs (357), 13th in digs per set (3.00) and 21st in hitting percentage (.225). Serra-Hsu also compiled 57 assists, 80 total blocks (0.67 blocks per set) and 1,042 total attacks as a junior in 2009.
Serra-Hsu, who was named to the Holiday Inn Denver West Village Oredigger Volleyball Classic (MVP) and St. Edward's University Hilltopper Volleyball Classic all-tournament teams in 2009, will begin her senior season ranked fourth in the CSM career record book in digs (1,173), total attacks (3,412) and service aces (96), as well as fifth in kills (1,207).
As a sophomore in 2008, Serra-Hsu earned First Team All-RMAC, All-RMAC Tournament and Honorable Mention All-Central Region (AVCA) honors.
